Summary: It was my first time in a Gasthof, and this one was a very good suprise, the room was very clean, and had a gigantic shower, the view to the Bavarian Alps was amazing. The restaurant is very Austrian traditional with fabulous food, the family that runs this Gasthof is really friendly and helpful, very good place for resting after bycicle trips. Overall was an amazing experience and i know were to stay next time when visiting Salzburg. Ps take bus number 5 , takes 20 min to city center.

Summary: The staff are all friendly, helpful, and very hospitable. The breakfast was lovely, and we also dined at the restaurant for dinner, which was delicious. The balcony opened on a gorgeous view of the mountainside. Please note, the property does not have an elevator, so you'll need to carry your things up one flight of stairs. But this was one of our favorite stays on this trip, and it centrally located for visits to Salzburg, Hallstatt, and Berchtesgaden.

Summary: Our extended family has been eating and staying here for over 50 years!! Excellent family run hotel - good service and food and value for the cost. Excellent location for walking to Hellbrun Castle where part of the Sound of Music was filmed and other well known places.
